I you have found a suitable study in our web site or our locl representative advised you on a proper study abroad you hand in all your documents (to the local representatives if you have one) in scanned copy. If you don’t have a local representative we have to check your paperwork for validity and authenticity, which means we will charge you for that (300 euro). In case you have a local representative, he will do that for us and charge you accordingly.

Admission
After all the papers are authenticated and we received your non-refundable down payment, we send the educational documents to the chosen college for approval. Some colleges send these to a validation agency in their country to assess your admissibility. The FE-group has no influence on this. This can take up to six weeks.

After we received an admission approval we will guide you through the visa process. This in most European cases means also paying all the fees up front. For our mediation fees please check out our Fees and Disclaimer page.

Visa process
There are two posibilities:

1. The institute takes care of the visa process, e.g. in Holland. In those cases the responsibiliy for the visa process lies with the institute and the FE-group cannot be held responsible for any mishaps in this process.

2. You have to apply yourself for the visa after receiving the appropriate visa papers from the institute. In that case the institute is responsible for the proper paperwork and you are responsible for the application.

In all cases you are responsible for the correct paperwork and the correct proof of your study motivation, language capacity and sustainability proof. In case of rejection because anything with those proof is wrong is entirely your own responsibility (e.g. not enough funds to live in the designate country, or lack of language capacity).

The FE-group will guide you through this process, but is ultimately not responsible for approval or rejection of your visa.

Payments
All payments are made directly to our Dutch account in their entirety, so the whole sum is paid through international bank transfers to Holland. The local representatives don’t see anything of this money, they are completely outside of these payments. In fact they don’t get paid until after the student receives his visa and arrives in the college. We send the appropriate amounts to the college, and the college will hold this money in trust until the visa has been approved and the student has entered the country. This means that in case your visa is denied, the money has to come back from the college to our account in order for us to pay you back. Usually this is done within 14 days, but depending on the refund policies of the college and the fact if there are school holidays, it may take a while longer. Local representatives are not responsible for the refunds.

Refunds
Please check the refund policy of the chosen college yourself, the representative can furnish you with the appropriate web addresses. According to our General Conditions (see our Fees and Disclaimer page) we cannot be held responsible for unforseen difficulties in the refund process. Please also note that local representatives only get paid after a successfull completion of the admission proces. Local representatives cannot be held responsible for the process once you have transferred the package fee to Holland as they have no part in the financial transferral process. However, in this case please also note the disclamer page notification on paying amounts to the local representative, which are done at your own responsibility and risk.
